Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shivaji Maharaj was born on 19 February 1627 at Shivnari Fort, Maharashtra. He belongs to a Maratha family. He is an inspiration for many. His bravery story is in the history of India. He has a great influence from his parents. His father’s name is Shahaji Bhosale, and his mother’s name is Jijabai Bhosale. He was very courageous, and only at the 15 he earned three forts. In Raigad fort, he was crowned a Chhatrapati Shivaji in 1674.
