Shivaji Maharaj was born on 19 February 1627 at Shivnari Fort, Maharashtra. He belongs to a Maratha family. He is an inspiration for many. His bravery story is in the history of India. He has a great influence from his parents. His father’s name is Shahaji Bhosale, and his mother’s name is Jijabai Bhosale. He was very courageous, and only at the 15 he earned three forts. In Raigad fort, he was crowned a Chhatrapati Shivaji in 1674.

Shivaji has grown up in a Hindu family where his mother, Jijabai, read Hindu texts loudly. But as he is Hindu but he was still very liberal and believed in all and supported all religions. When Shivaji made the Maratha empire, he made Raigad the capital. Later on, he expanded that by adding many victory forts. He has gone through many conflicts and disagreements with Mughal Empire and the British Empire to build his empire.

One more example is the battle of Kolhapur. This battle was held on 28 December 1659. This battle was fought between the Maratha Chhatrapati Shivaji and the Adilshahi armies close to Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It was estimated that In this battle, both armies had equal soldiers. But Shivaji was very intelligent, used his smart strategies for this battle, and won this battle by winning Kolhapur.

Another battle is the Battle of Pavan Khind. It was fought between Siddi Masud of Adilshah and the Maratha Sardar Baji Prabhu Deshpande near Fort Vishalgad, close to Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. This battle was held on 13 July 1660.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj founded the Maratha kingdom of India. He was courageous. The security of the kingdom was entirely based on religion and the functional integration of Brahmans, Marathas, and Prabhus. Shivaji Maharaj established the maharaja kingdom of India. This kingdom was based on religious and functional integration.

He was very brave and fought many battles to unite India. Before this, India was ruled by Muslim rulers and was divided. Shivaji’s ancestral estate was situated in the Deccan region of Bijapur sultans. When he found that the Muslim ruler was suppressed, he became sad about this devastating condition. So by seeing this, he decided to fight for the freedom of Hindus. It was his bravery he fulfilled his dream.

Shivaji death
No one knows the exact reason for the death of Shivaji Maharaj. It is believed that hE died on Hanuman Jayanti. Many believe that he died because he was very sick. Some people also claim that Soyarabai, his second wife poisoned him because she wanted his son, Rajaram, who was only 10 years old, to become the kingdom’s successor.
